New Directors Wanted

Perth Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) is looking for dynamic individuals to join their Board of Directors and to assist with the strategic direction and future development of the Bureau.

Perth CAB is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.  The Board is made up of people from a range of professional backgrounds and currently has vacancies for new members.

The Board are seeking applications from individuals residing in Perth and Kinross who have an interest in working with a well-established charity which is part of the largest free advice service in Scotland.   We are particularly interested in those with knowledge of employment law and human resources, but we would welcome applicants from any background.  Diversity of our board membership is important, therefore we are also seeking directors who reflect and have knowledge of the diverse communities throughout Perthshire. Candidates should be aged 18 or over.

The Board meets quarterly with sub-committee meetings in-between.  Directors are expected to attend Annual General Meeting and participate in development and training sessions.  The position is voluntary and reasonable travel expenses will be paid.
