The Citizens Advice Bureau wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the volunteers we have. Volunteers in the bureau work in a range of roles: as advisers, admin workers, IT support or committee members.
You don't require qualifications or particular experience to become a volunteer. Of course it helps if you are a good listener, able to read information and explain it to others. We also require you to commit yourself to a certain number of hours a week.
In return, as a volunteer adviser, we provide you with full training on a range of topics, which will enable to help advise and assist people when they come into the bureau. Even once you’ve finished training, you will still receive support and guidance from staff.
We are currently looking for volunteers for our Perth branch . We would like to hear from anyone who lives in and around the Perth area and would like to volunteer. For information, please contact Karen Campbell on 01738 450584 or send an email to:karencampbell@perthcab.casonline.org.uk
